Vita et Pax Netball Team Wins the League in Impressive Fashion
The Vita et Pax Prep School Netball team has achieved an outstanding victory in the recent league competition, cementing their place as one of the top teams in North London. The team competed in a series of highly anticipated matches held at Merryhills and emerged victorious, finishing in first place in the league.
The competition featured tough opponents, including Grange Park Primary School, Wolfs Hillel, Salcombe, Merryhills, and Hadley Wood School. Despite the stiff competition, the Vita et Pax team displayed remarkable skill, teamwork, and determination, winning all five of their matches. The team’s performance was nothing short of spectacular, scoring a total of 44 goals across the games, while only conceding four goals in total. This impressive goal difference speaks volumes about their dominance on the court.
A huge thank you goes to Mrs. Destro, whose expert coaching played a crucial role in the team’s success. Her dedication and ability to bring out the best in each player were evident throughout the league, and her guidance helped to foster a strong sense of unity within the team.
The players in Years 5 and 6 showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship, contributing to the team’s impressive performance. Their hard work and commitment to the sport shone through in every match, and their collective effort has rightfully earned them the top spot in the league.
We would also like to extend our thanks to the Enfield PE department for organizing and hosting the event, allowing schools like ours to compete in such a well-run and exciting competition.
